His family includes Chiyo Morimoto (wife), Kiyo Morimoto (daughter), Aiko Morimoto (daughter), Shizuyo Morimoto (daughter), and Shigekazu Morimoto (son). He lived at Cannery House, Imperial Cannery, Steveston, BC, was forcibly uprooted to Lemon Creek, BC and Slocan, BC, and was exiled to Japan on 17 June 1946. His listed seized property includes: boat “R.M.”; fishing equipment; household belongings.
