His family includes Chika Noma (mother; nee Chika Tsuruda), Yanosuke Noma (father), Yaye Noma (wife; in Japan), Sumi Noma (daughter; in Japan), Yoshio Noma (son; in Japan), Takanori Noma (son; in Japan), and Akiko Noma (daughter; in Japan). His home address is listed as Woodfibre, BC. He was forcibly uprooted to Princeton, BC and he was exiled to Japan on 24 December 1946.
