Scope and content
Harukichi Nakata was admitted to Essondale from Kaslo; diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. Nakata suffered from delusions that other internees want to kill him. A nurse report was sent to the BCSC. Nakata died on 30 March 1945 of chronic myocarditis at age 66.

British Columbia. Mental Health Services created this archive which were transferred to the BC Archives from 1987 to 2000.
