Scope and content
Rex v. Carl was a murder trial. Carl was accused of the murder two Japanese fishermen, Matsuzo Takamoto and Sizo Takamoto, at Rivers Inlet, on 10 July 1900. During depositions, a witness reports that alcohol was a factor.
