This file contains one file regarding a letter written by Reverend K. Kuboniwa to Mr. G. McGeer on his election as Vancouver mayor. He writes that he was the son of a smelt fisher at Point Grey, deceased, who would have also been “glad” of McGeer’s appointment. Kuboniwa recalls McGeer’s “kindness” in helping him and his father out. He is “sure there is no better man to be Mayor of Vancouver.”

McGeer, Gerald Grattan, 1888-1947 created this archive from his time as an MLA representing Richmond, mayor of Vancouver, and a Senator. This material was given to the archives in 1950 by Mrs. McGeer.
