This file contains documents pertaining to a Cabinet Committee on Japanese Problems meeting on 13 December 1946. Included is a report on the sale of property, a draft statement (with hand written annotations) on Orders-in-Council concerning Japanese Canadians, records pertaining to the deportation orders (the Privy Council Appeal No. 58 of 1946 CCJC v. AG of Canada; a “Memorandum re: Deportation of Undesirable”; and general correspondence regarding the deportation Orders-in-Council).
