His family includes Konoye Sakata (nee Konoye Nishimura), Shirokichi Sakata (father), Shizue Sakata (wife; nee Shizue Sakata; in Japan), and Morihiro Sakata (son; in Japan). He lived at 341 Powell Street, Vancouver, BC, was forcibly uprooted to Westwold, BC and Pritchard, BC, and was exiled to Japan on 24 December 1946. His listed seized property includes: boat “Kintoki S”; fishing equipment.
