Scope and content

Correspondence between Minister of Fisheries Howe and the Fishing Vessel Owners’ Association. The concerns of the association are expressed, including the number of Japanese Canadian people in the industry. The Minister of Fisheries addresses this concern by saying that “There is no Provincial Act that prohibits the employment of Orientals in our canneries or fish processing plants.”
