This file contains correspondence between Star Shipyard and the Royal Canadian Navy concerning the repair of seized vessels that the Navy appropriated, notably the “Departure Bay.” Also in this file is a letter from the Japanese Fishing Vessels Disposal Committee delineating the plan for these vessels which included transferring the vessels to new owners as soon as possible in order to avoid impairing the fishing industry. There is also a list of ships received by Star Shipyard.

The digital copies of the records were acquired by the Landscapes of Injustice Research Collective between 2014 and 2018.
