                              <p>This file contains correspondence between <orgName ref="org:star23">Star Shipyard</orgName> and the <orgName ref="org:roya8">Royal Canadian Navy</orgName> concerning the repair of seized vessels that the Navy appropriated, notably the “Departure Bay.” Also in this file is a letter from the <orgName ref="org:jfvd1">Japanese Fishing Vessels Disposal Committee</orgName> delineating the plan for these vessels which included transferring the vessels to new owners as soon as possible in order to avoid impairing the fishing industry. There is also a list of ships received by Star Shipyard.
