This file contains two annuals of the Nisei Lycée magazine from Tashme High, located in Tashme, BC. The first (1944) is an original owned by the husband of Winnifred Awmack, and the second (1945) is a Xeroxed copy from Awmack. In the first annual in 1944, the essay contest winner and second place topic was “Our World Today.” Third prize wrote on “Education” and honorable mention, “A Nisei Looks to the Future.” The second annual in 1945 contains the speech from Charles Yoshida, the class president. It also refers to the multiple cubs, school constitution, the PTA, and school song composed by Kazuo Kadonaga, and multiple writing pieces by students. Both annuals contains advertisements throughout the publication.

The digital copies of the records were acquired by the Landscapes of Injustice Research Collective between 2014 and 2018.
