April 27th. 1942 Department of game and Fisheries Victoria. B.C. Dear Sirs:

I saw in the paper that you still need fishermen in British Columbia.

I am a well experienced fresh water fisherman, operating a fishery outfit of my own including a gas boat, and all.

I may do a greater service to the country by coming out there to fish.

I have fished in the Lesser Slave Lake and other northern lakes.

If you still need good strong experienced fishermen, just past military age, please let me know, as I can make other arrangements, regarding my outfit here.

Please give all the particulars regarding fare and where to go to, by return mail.
