This file contains Order-in-Council PC 1939-3812, dated 23 November 1939. The Order-in-Council establishes and refines a process whereby enemy aliens detained and interned under the Defence of Canada regulations can apply to a tribunal to appeal their internment. These appeals had to be filed within 30 days of internment.
The digital copies of the records were acquired by the Landscapes of Injustice Research Collective between 2014 and 2018.
