Scope and content

This file includes an inquiry into allegations concerning the "Nippon Black Dragon Society" operating within British Columbia. Though this inquiry does not deal with property (there is some mention of fishing vessels), it does discuss the "evacuation" procedure and the activities undertaken by the British Columbia Security Commission as well as other Japanese Canadian and Japanese national organizations in wartime.
