August 4, 1947 Dear Sir:

Will you please look over my things that were left in Claxton Cannery, Skeena River, B.C. in one bunk house which was under the care of the Custodian. The things left:-

1 Double Bed & Spring 1 Crib & Mattress 1 Baby Chair Amount of $50.00 Fishing Utensils 100.00 Fish Net 75.00 Net Girdy 35.00 Total Amt. $260.00

The only amount received from Custodian was $29.09.

If you would send me the left over I sure think it would help me out quite a lot as our living on sugar beet working is very hard.

The amount that should be refunded is $260.00 - $29.09 = $230.91

Please write me about this matter. Hoping to get the amount as soon as possible,
