This file comprises various Office of the Custodian–related documents and pieces of correspondence, including some letters dealing with the closure of the Custodian Vancouver office and the dispersal of funds from said office. The file also contains a great number of tables and reports dealing with holdings, both financial and material, held by the Custodian at the moment of the office’s closure. There are also a large number of correspondence between lawyers and the Custodian dealing with the Japan & Canada Trust Savings Company and the Mr. Hideo Kido file.

The digital copies of the records were acquired by the Landscapes of Injustice Research Collective between 2014 and 2018.

Shears, Frank Gould created this archive during his role as director of the Vancouver branch of the office of the Custodian of Enemy Property.
