Bell</persName> (manager of <orgName ref="orgography.xml#brca1">Brunswick Cannery</orgName>), and the law firm of <orgName ref="orgography.xml#haab1">Hadley &amp; Abbott</orgName> (Bellingham) regarding the confiscation of boats and fishing equipment owned by the Association and the Japanese fishermen <persName ref="personography_t.xml#tomo12">K. Tomo</persName> and <persName ref="personography_u.xml#uyan1">C. Uyano</persName> that were seized for fishing illegally in <placeName ref="placeography.xml#usoa2">U.S.</placeName> waters.
