March 23rd/ 43. The Chief Supervisor. Dominion Fisheries Dear Sir-

We are 3 families who are intending to settle in British Columbia. Buying 300 acres from the Government. We are interested in the Commercial fishing on the coast and the Commissioner of the B.C. Government Lands Bureau at Victoria B.C. gave me your address so that I could write you direct and get the information. Would we be able to buy one of the Japanese Fishing boats, that the Gov. has at B.C. What would the price be for one. and would we be granted a commercial fishing license. Is it a special license for salmon fishing around the mouth of the Fraser river.

We shall be glad to get any information on this subject or booklets.
