This series comprises twelve files pertaining to Japanese Canadians and the following: the government sale of property; restrictions surrounding schooling in BC; the appointment of a board to forcibly sell real estate property in Vancouver; protests against the forced sale of property; seized farmlands in the Fraser Valley; plans to demolish and renovate parts of "Little Tokyo"; J. Arthur MacLennan proceeding with the court case to challenge the government's authority to forcibly sell property and appealing to the Secretary of State; the use of seized fishing vessels; and an incident in Steveston where white fishermen warned a Japanese Canadian man against returning to the coast.

The digital copies of the records were acquired by the Landscapes of Injustice Research Collective between 2014 and 2018.
