Yoshihara was born on 28 March 1920. He was a fisherman selling through Ucluelet Fisherman’s Cooperative Association. His family includes Tsuney Yoshihara (mother; nee Tsuney Kasahara; in Japan), Tamakichi Yoshihara (father; deceased at time of file), and M. Toshihara (brother). He lived in Ucluelet, BC. The file also mentions Celtic Cannery, Ft. Blenheim Street. He was forcibly uprooted to Petawawa Internment Camp, Petawawa, ON, Lethbridge, AB, Barnwell, AB, and Lahti Lumber Company, Geraldton, ON. His seized and surrendered property includes: boat “Mt. Frederick” [also, “Mount Frederick” and “Mt. Frederic”]; tools; a firearm.
