She was born on 23 January 1926. She was a housemaid employed by Mrs. M. Brown. Her family includes Nobujiro Asano (father) and Nobu Asano (mother; nee Nobu Omoto). Her home address is listed as 1652 West 2nd Avenue, Vancouver BC. She was forcibly uprooted to Sandon, BC and exiled to Japan on 17 June 1946.
