This section contains indexes of digital archive data derived by the project from
the various LOI special collection sources. The data-sets include a comprehensive list of individual’s names, and lists of organizations
and places encoded within the database, as well as street indexes for the Powell Street
area in Vancouver, and team member information. Each data-set has further information
below.

Terminology
Readers of these historical materials will encounter derogatory references to Japanese
Canadians and euphemisms used to obscure the intent and impacts of the internment
and dispossession. While these are important realities of the history, the Landscapes
of Injustice Research Collective urges users to carefully consider their own terminological
choices in writing and speaking about this topic today as we confront past injustice.
