The organization index is an inventory of 2102 entities including businesses, government departments, religious groups and societies that are encoded in the LOI special collections. Like the names and places indexes, most of these organizations have yet to be described or fully contextualised in Japanese-Canadian history but some preliminary work has been added to a few entries.
