She was born on 2 June 1918. Her married name is Miyoko Shishido. She was a dressmaker employed by Mrs. Nakamura. Her family includes Yasaburo Ashizawa (father) and Masaye Shishido (husband; married in 1943). Her home address is listed as 518 Alexander Street, Vancouver, BC. She was forcibly uprooted to Tashme, BC and later exiled to Japan in August 1946.
