He was born on 15 March 1889. He was a self-employed fisherman and carpenter. His family includes Iso Ezaki (mother), Dennojo Ezaki (father), Kikue Ezaki (wife; in Japan), and Mitsunori Ezaki (son; in Japan). His home address is listed as 1701 West Georgia Street, Vancouver, BC. He was forcibly uprooted to Slocan City, BC and was exiled to Japan on 17 June 1946.
