Joseph C. Harris
Owned the Bosun Ranch in the Slocan Valley. Wrote a very insightful essay on
the "Coming of the Japanese" to the valley. Harris is the grandfather of
historical geographer Cole Harris and the great-grandfather of legal scholar
Douglas Harris.
