He was born on 26 July 1872. He was a pastor employed by Fonr Square Gospel Church [possibly Foursquare Gospel Church], Kingsway, Vancouver, BC. His family includes Kisamatsu Higashi (mother; nee Kisamatsu Minode), Senuemon Higashi (father), and Shige Higashi [also listed as Shigeko Higashi] (wife; nee Shige Sekiguchi or Shigeko Sekiguchi; in Japan). His home address is listed as 546 Powell Street, Vancouver, BC. He was forcibly uprooted to Tashme, BC. He was exiled to Japan on 2 August 1946.
