He was born on 16 August 1884. He was a shingle mill worker employed by Pacific Shingle Company. His family includes San Ishii (wife; in Japan). His home address is listed as 236 Powell Street, Vancouver, BC. He was forcibly uprooted to Tashme, BC and exiled to Japan on 31 May 1946.
