His family includes Kiri Izumi (wife; nee Kiri Miyauchi; deceased), Jineimon Izumi (father), Hatsu Izumi (mother; nee Hatsu Kito), Masashi Izumi (son; in Japan). He lived in New Westminster, BC. He was forcibly uprooted to Tashme, BC.
