His family includes Uta Kishimoto (wife; nee Uta Horii), Toshiko Kishimoto (daughter), Kiyoko Kishimoto (daughter), Yeiko Kishimoto (daughter). His home address is listed as 1657 East Hastings Street, Vancouver BC. He was forcibly uprooted to Grand Forks, BC and exiled to Japan on 2 August 1946.
