Her family includes Masanosuke Ikenaga (father), Ito Ikenaga (mother), Sanuemon Konishi (husband), Kimuyo Konishi (daughter), Hideo Konishi (son), Teruyo Konishi (daughter; in Japan). She lived in Ocean Falls, BC. She was forcibly uprooted to Tashme, BC and exiled to Japan on 31 May 1946.
