His family includes Sotoe Kubo (wife; nee Sotoe Takimoto; in Japan), Geariu Kubo (son; in Japan), and Sadama Kubo (daughter; in Japan), His home address is listed as 2054 Dundas Street, Vancouver, BC. He was forcibly uprooted to Angler, ON and exiled to Japan on 2 August, 1946.
