He was born on 23 August 1902. He was a boat builder employed by Mr. Kawaguchi, Alert Bay, BC. His family includes Isono Masago (mother; nee Isono Ishibashi), and Seishichi Masago (father). His home address is listed as P.O. Box 208, Steveston, BC. He was forcibly uprooted to Toronto, ON and he was exiled to Japan on 31 May 1946.
