He was born on 18 April 1902. He was a farmer. His family includes Komasuke Matsunoshita (father), and Idi Matsunoshita (wife; nee Idi Kawashidi). He lived at Rural Route No. 1, Summerland, BC and was exiled to Japan on 2 October 1946.
