His family includes Komakichi Matsumoto (father), Kiku Matsumoto (mother; nee Kiku Iwada), and Umino Matsumoto (wife; nee Umino Mura; in Japan). His home address is listed as 1867 West 2nd Avenue, Vancouver, BC. He was forcibly uprooted to Red Buck, BC and exiled to Japan on 2 October 1946.
