He was born on 25 November 1887. He was a strawberry grower and was employed by Pacific Shingle Company, Indian River, BC. His family includes Hamayo Sunawara (mother), Jueimon Minemoto (father), Mitsuko Minemoto [also listed as Mitsu Minemoto] (wife; nee Mitsuko Yamamoto or Mitsu Yamamoto; in Japan), Mamoru Minemoto (son; in Japan), Emiko Minemoto (daughter; in Japan), Moriteru Minemoto (son; in Japan), and Hiroshi Minemoto (son; in Japan). His home address is listed as 409 Alexander Street, Vancouver, BC. He interned before being forcibly uprooted to Moose Jaw, SK where he died on 25 April 1947.
