She was born on 29 January 1900. She was a cannery worker employed by St. Mungo Cannery, New Westminster, BC. Her family includes Tokujiro Mio (father), and Tomekichi Mio (husband). Her home address is listed as P.O. Box 244, No. 7 Cold Storage Cottage, Georgia Street, Steveston, BC. She was forcibly uprooted to Greenwood, BC and she was exiled to Japan on 17 June 1946.
