Her family includes Natsuki Shimano (mother; nee Natsuki Nawatari), Toji Shimano (father) Yaichi Miyazaki (husband). Her home address is listed as Ocean Falls, BC and 4th 629 _ Cordova Street, Vancouver, BC. She was forcibly uprooted to Greenwood, BC and she was exiled to Japan on 2 October 1946.
