Her family includes Tsune Kano (mother; nee Tsune Masuda), Jihyoe Kano (father), Hyozo Oki (husband), and George Oki [also listed as Tajimi Oki] (adopted son). Her home address is listed as 1531 East 4th Avenue, Vancouver, BC. She was forcibly uprooted to Tashme, BC and was exiled to Japan on 2 August 1946.
