His family includes Takichi Ota (father), Hobu Ota (mother), Shimo Ota (wife), Isamu Ota (son), Nobuko Ota (daughter), Takeshi Ota (son), George Ota [also listed as Hiroshi Ota] (son), Teruko Ota (daughter), Bobby Ota [also listed as Masashi Ota] (son). He lived in Chemainus, BC. He was forcibly uprooted to Tashme, BC and exiled to Japan on 31 May 1946.
