His family includes Some Tateishi (mother; nee Some Katayama) and Taka Tateishi (wife; nee Taka Wada; in Japan). His home address is listed as Steveston, BC. He was forcibly uprooted to Eholt, BC and Greenwood, BC. He was exiled to Japan on 2 August 1946.
