His family includes Chutaro Teshima (father), Himeno Teshima (mother), Yasuyo Teshima (wife; nee Yasuyo Matsumoto), Meiko Teshima [also listed as Mieko Teshima] (daughter), Sugako Teshima (daughter), Kisuko Teshima (daughter), and Tsuyoshi Teshima (son). His home address is listed as 1642 West 2nd Avenue, Vancouver, BC. He was forcibly uprooted to Tashme, BC and exiled to Japan on 31 May 1946.
