He was born on 27 March 1925. He was a farmer’s help employed by Chonosuke Tsumura. His family includes Chonosuke Tsumura (father) and Tonoyo Tsumura (mother; nee Tonoyo Tsumura). He lived in New Westminster, BC. He was forcibly uprooted to Kamloops, BC.
