His family includes Tei Uraisami (mother; nee Tei Nakatani), Hansaku Uraisami (father), and Miyoko Uraisami (wife; nee Miyoko Tanaka). His home address is listed as P.O. Box 53, No. 22 Imperial Cannery, Steveston, BC. He was forcibly uprooted to Tashme, BC and he was exiled to Japan on 31 May 1946.
