He was born on 24 August 1923. He was a sawmill hand employed by Royston Lumber Company, Cumberland, BC. His family includes Koma Yoshikuni (mother; nee Koma Saita) and Ichimatsu Yoshikuni (father). His home address is listed as Cumberland, BC. He was forcibly uprooted to Passmore, BC and was exiled to Japan on 17 June 1946.
