Eikichi Tanino
Tanino was born in February 1884. He was a master on a packer boat employed by Anglo
British Columbia Packers, Steveston, BC. His family includes Masue Tanino (wife; nee
Masue Kashio), Yoshiharu Tanino (son), Susumu Tanino (son), Eiichi Tanino (son), and
Mitsunobu Tanino (son). He lived at Phoenix Cannery, Steveston, BC and 362 Powell
Street, Vancouver, BC and was forcibly uprooted to Tashme, BC and 106 Burton Street,
Hamilton, ON. His listed seized property includes: packer boat “Taneese” [also, “Tanuse”];
household belongings.
