Kiuroku Shimizu
Shimizu was born on 16 March 1894. He was a fisherman. His family includes Niwa Shimizu
(mother; nee Niwa Hama; deceased at time of file), Kyuzo Shimizu (father; deceased
at time of file), Mise Shimizu (wife; nee Mise Okada), Kiyoshi Shimizu (son; born
on 19 May 1926), Teruo Shimizu (son; born on 30 July 1927), Tamotsu Shimizu (son;
born on 30 June 1929), Hisao Shimizu (son; born on 31 October 1930), Emiko Shimizu
(daughter; born on 30 March 1936), Fumiko Shimizu [also, Sumiko Shimizu] (daughter;
born on 22 September 1937), and Eiko Shimizu (daughter; born on 2 July 1939). He lived
in Ucluelet, BC, was forcibly uprooted to Slocan, BC and Lemon Creek, BC, and was
exiled to Japan on 02 October 1946. His listed seized property includes: house built
on Bamfield Packing Company’s land in Port Albion (Shimizu Bay), across inlet from
Ucluelet, BC; boat “Miss Ucluelet”; boathouse; household belongings.
