Akazawa was born on 24 December 1885. He was a lumber mill wright employed by Tsuchida
of 1125 7th Avenue, Vancouver, BC. His family includes Hisako Akazawa (mother; nee
Hisako Ogawa; deceased at time of file [15 November 1939]), Rokuhei Akazawa (father;
deceased at time of file), Shizuko Akazawa (wife; nee Shizuko Ikeda; deceased at time
of file), Takeo Akazawa (son), Sachiko Akazawa (daughter), Shizuo Akazawa (son),
Yasuko Akazawa (daughter; born on 27 August 1925), and Hisao Akazawa (son; born on
15 May 1929). He lived at 665 East Cordova Street, Vancouver, BC and was forcibly
uprooted to Tashme, BC, where he died on 01 May 1945. His listed seized property includes:
land, house, garage, and chicken house at 665 East Cordova Street, Vancouver, BC;
household belongings; sewing machine; garden tools; gramophone; piano; lumber; appliances;
Holy Bible; violin.
