BC. His family includes Yarie Tasaka (mother; nee Yarie Hato; in Japan), Tsaburo Tasaka
(father; in Japan), Mitsue Tasaka (wife; nee Mitsue Urata; in Hastings Park at time
of file), Tsumoru Tasaka (son; born 11 December 1936; in Hastings Park at time of
file), Ritsuko Tasaka (daughter; born 8 March 1938; in Hastings Park at time of file),
Michitaka Tasaka (son; born 27 February 1940; in Hastings Park at time of file), K.
Tasaka (brother; Fourth Avenue, Kitsilano, Vancouver, BC) His home address is listed
as Claxton Cannery, Claxton, BC. He was forcibly uprooted to East Lillooet, BC. His
listed seized property includes his boats, the “Kingcome,” sold to Hector McDonald
Cowie, the “Orion,” sold to B.C. Packers Limited, and the “Kimitsu” which was also
sold to B.C. Packers Limited, an R.C.A. Victor Mantel Radio set and batteries, a pair
of binoculars, and household belongings.
