Shizuyo Maikawa
Maikawa was born on 27 July 1923. She was a cannery worker employed by Nootka Bamfield
Packing Company, Port Albion, BC. Her family includes Yoshiye Maikawa (mother; nee
Yoshiye Yamaguchi; in Japan) and Kanzo Maikawa (father). Her home address is listed
as P.O. Box 10, Ucluelet, BC. She was forcibly uprooted to Lemon Creek, BC and was
exiled to Japan on 2 August 1946. Her listed seized property includes a Kodak Box
Type camera which was later mailed to her.
