Correspondence between Inspector of Municipalities E.H. Bridgman to New Denver Clerk F.H. Angrignon regarding payment of costs for Japanese Canadian patients at
Slocan Community Hospital in New Denver. Bridgman concludes that the Dominion government is responsible Japanese Canadian
patients, and that the village of New Denver is not obligated to consider them residents. From File titled “Residence and Responsibility
